The Emeramus Programme is the Europe based student exchange programme which had been launched in the late 1980s. The main goal of the program is to provide opinions for the students to exchange abroad all over the EU, as well as involving most of the best universities and seats of learning on the continent.

How does it work?

The program main aim include cross-border cooperation between the states, to enlarge international study power With more than 4000 students participated, Emeramus provide on of the best chances for work and study abroad.

How long you can study abroad?

You cn opt the program started from 3 all the way to the 12 months (including a complementary traineeship period, if planned). Same student can receive grants and stay covered by the program up to a 12 months period maximum, per the cycle of study: 

  • During the first study cycle (Bachelor or equivalent) including the short-cycle (EQF levels 5 and 6)
  • During the second study cycle (Master or equivalent – EQF level 7) and
  • During the third cycle as doctoral candidate (Doctoral level or EQF level 8)

The duration of a traineeship by recent graduates counts towards the 12 months maximum of the cycle during which they apply for the traineeship.

How long can students go abroad?

Students must be registered in a higher education institution and enrolled in studies leading to a recognised degree or other recognised tertiary level qualification (up to and including the level of doctorate).

The mobility is carried out in the framework of prior inter-institutional agreements between the sending and receiving institutions, both of which must be holders of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (if located in a Programme country).
